This year’s “Binibining Bataan” beauty pageant is one important event that showcase the province’s array of alluring pulchritude. Thanks to the Bataan Peninsula Tourism Council Foundation chaired by Ms. Isabel Garcia who sponsored the project with Ms. Vicky Garcia as adviser.

Many guests and spectators were amazed, and well, surprised at the way the contestants smartly answered the questions thrown at them by news reporters during the “Binibining Bataan” launching and media presentation last Saturday at the elegant Plaza Antonino in Orani. The contestants answered the questions with cinch and were at ease except for a few who struggled in finding the right answer to a difficult question from the press.

Cash prizes await the winner or the winners in this beauty tilt which will again draw support from different sectors because of the renewed enthusiasm shown by the provincial government.

The winner in this pageant will play the role of an ambassadress and will represent Bataan in relevant gatherings to promote tourism. The local beauty pageant started off in 2007 when former Bataan Governor and congressman Enrique “Tet” Garcia was still around and was held every two years thereafter except during the pandemic years
